We are excited for the 2021-2022 school year. We will be making new friends and learning new skills.
On Mondays, we will introduce the new letter of the week and the theme. On Tuesdays, we will introduce the next number of the week. Wednesday is our chapel and music day, and Thursday is our libray day. On Fridays, we have a Friday dance celebration and a recap of the week. Sometimes there is a special snack related to our theme or letter. We will also have a weekly Bible story and coloring page.
Cutting with scissors is also an important skill in preschool. Children practice proper
scissor manners, such as, how to open and close, use their helper hand, cut on the line,
and keep their thumb on top. It sounds like a lot, but your children are smart and will
develop their fine motor skills with practice both at school and at home.
